The Zen Backpackers gang!

Groovy is a local, not from the hostel. He was a friend-of-a-friend to Hamsa.... and had no idea that he would be entertaining such a large group! But he managed perfectly.

James is from Seoul, and was doing a brief tour of his country before coming over to the U.S. to study. Andrew/Hamsa/Tara met him in Gyeongju and dragged him along. (all of us had actually been in Gyeongju earlier that day... Michael had even stayed at the same hostel, although we hadn't formally met at the time)

Andrew/Hamsa/Tara are from the States, Michael is from Australia but living in Japan as an English teacher.
