Recommended place to get Gyeongju bread (red bean paste between two pancakes) for breakfast (and for the road, although they only last a few days). The more common version is a pastry filled with red bean paste (vaguely reminds me of Chinese moon cakes, but not as dense), but many people prefer the pancake version (I like both).

They have a good breakfast deal with a glass of orange juice, a cup of coffee, two slices of toast with bread and jam, and two of the pancake pastries... which worked out perfectly for us, since Evan just wanted juice, I just wanted coffee, and the rest could be evenly split. I don't know about the coffee elsewhere in South Korea, but here it was extremely light. Transparent, even. Seemed more like tea. Which was fine by me, since I prefer tea. (no, I don't think they just brought me tea instead of coffee)

I bet they make a great sandwichse.
