We came across this cave on the drive to Christchurch. I would have *loved* to check it out (I like caves), but we were short on time, flashlights, wetsuits (yes, they were suggested.. there's apparently much wading involved, and climbing up a waterfall at one point... I got to speak with somebody there who'd gone through it before... I think she said it took about an hour to reach the exit), physical fitness (speaking only for myself, of course)....

If I ever happen to make it back to New Zealand, I definitely want to do some cave exploration.
