One of my favorite shots in Lost in Translation is of Scarlett Johansson crossing these stones during the "Alone in Kyoto" scene... having both crossed these stones and witnessed a wedding (although she sees this at Nanzenji, not Heian), I felt a little bit like I was reenacting the sequence... sadly, I forgot to load the song, "Alone in Kyoto," on my mp3 player...
